Sixth Form is the culmination of an educational journey of discovery, enlightenment, challenge and fulfilment, as your son or daughter becomes a capable young person with a well-balanced education; prepared for life’s next step, whether that’s university, vocational learning, the working world or a gap year.
Whether progressing from within Amherst or as an external or international student, we encourage you to take part in our taster days and other events to smooth the transition and prepare you and your son or daughter for life in our Sixth Form.
Entrance Requirements
You child’s entrance into our Sixth Form is dependent on achieving five or more GCSE subjects at grade 5 or above, but it is also at the discretion of the Headmaster. We would be delighted to discuss with you how we can help your son or daughter excel academically and personally within our Sixth Form.
