All our Sixth Formers receive bespoke support with UCAS applications throughout Years 12 and 13, including specialist guidance on which institutions are best suited to their particular choice of degree course. We also offer guidance of any students wishing to apply to US and other overseas universities.
Our recent Year 13 (2024) leavers proceed to study a wide range of courses, including Biology at York, Chemistry at University College London, Economics, Finance and Data Science at Imperial College London, Pharmacy at Leicester and Psychology at Warwick. Several students are pursuing Fine Art at their preferred universities and in the humanities, Amherst pupils will study American Studies and History at Nottingham, Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Exeter and Religion, Philosophy and Ethics at King’s College London.
We help and advise students on work experience placements, gap years and post-qualification applications that may be advantageous to their higher education ambitions.
