Sixth Form here is an all-embracing and life-enhancing experience of personal development, involvement and fulfilment. They are qualities gained within an environment of enveloping pastoral care and in which your fellow students are your enthusiastic supporters and friends.
We encourage all students to develop attributes that lie well beyond the curriculum – after all, there are no A Levels in humility, teamwork and empathy.
Being a member of our Sixth Form combines privileges with responsibility. There is an expectation that your son or daughter will influence younger members of the School family in a positive and constructive manner. Sixth formers have important roles to play in the running of their House, their common room and helping to organise charity and sporting events. At Christmas the Year 12s entertain local senior citizens at an annual party, whilst Year 13 entertain the whole Senior School with the popular Sixth Form Review.
And that’s not to mention a rich calendar of events, balls, dinners, tours, trips, clubs and talks. Many are organised with the girls and boys of Loughborough High School and Loughborough Grammar School, the other constituents of the Foundation’s Sixth Form family and who add greatly to the richness of Sixth Form life on campus.
"Pupils demonstrate a deep understanding of the non-material aspects of life which permeates through their experience at school"
