Head of Preparatory School
I was appointed Head of Loughborough Amherst Preparatory School in April 2018. I have a passion for education believing that through enjoyment and perseverance comes great learning. I currently teach R.E to Years 1-3. I am also fortunate enough to have an impact upon students’ experiences beyond my school and am an SLE in Primary Assessment as well as being a Foundation Director (Trustee) for the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. Before joining Loughborough Amherst School, I was Deputy Head and SENCo at a state school in Loughborough. When time allows, I enjoy the opportunity to make the most of the Derbyshire countryside where I live as well as enjoying film, theatre and live music. In quieter moments, I can often be found baking or curled up with a good book.
