Below is a testimonial from one of our boarding students:

As soon as Boarders arrive at Loughborough Grammar School, they are welcomed by their Housemaster and Housemistress. Boarders are introduced to our healthcare team and catering staff, before families are invited to enjoy a formal meal together. Alongside the Head of Boarding, Mrs Foster, the Boarding team take students through a detailed induction process.

Wellbeing

Life as Boarder at Loughborough Grammar School is characterised by its variety. During the school day, students make the most of the academic challenge of lessons and wide ranging co-curricular activities in lunchtime clubs, before returning to the House at 16:00. Their evenings involve structured homework time, sporting events, music and, importantly, time to relax and rest.

The central positioning of Loughborough, with convenient public transport connections, means that our Boarding community benefits from weekend trips to a variety of cities. We want our international students to leave school having made the most of ‘seeing’ the UK and to feel confident in living in the country should they wish to continue their studies at university.
