Award Winning Cultural Programme
The majority of our Boarders are international students, many of which have never visited the United Kingdom before beginning at the school. With most Boarders applying to UK universities, we believe it is important to introduce them to life in the UK.
Our award-winning Cultural Programme involves a series of events and activities which introduces international students to British culture and traditions:
- Visiting cities such as Cambridge, Oxford, York, Liverpool, London and Leicester.
- Watching a live Premiership football match. We have been to the Etihad Stadium to watch Manchester City for the past two years.
- Visiting a national park.
- Visting a coastal seaside resort.
- Attending a formal dinner.
- Additional trips include the local cinema, professional ice-hockey, professional basketball, paint-balling, go-karting.
These activities take place on weekends or after school and are in addition to the co-curricular activities that are open to all students during the school day.
