Menus are designed to provide healthy choices; low in salt, sugar and saturated fat. Fresh food from local suppliers is delivered and served daily from our professional kitchen which is 5-star food hygiene rated by the Food Standards Agency.
The boys are served lunch every day in Burton Hall from 13:10 to 14:10, allowing plenty of time to fit in lunchtime activities or clubs and still enjoy a hot meal.
There is a wide choice of meal styles available: a traditional British Bar, a Pasta or Baguette Bar and a “Rest of the World” bar with traditional dishes prepared by our Malaysian, Indian and Brazilian Chefs.
We also have a self-help salad bar and hot vegetables and potatoes available throughout each lunch, ensuring everyone can make informed choices on their own dietary requirements
Our chefs cater for a wide range of cultural, religious and dietary requirements. Our fresh meat suppliers are Halal registered, and all catering staff, whatever their role in the kitchen, have an in-depth understanding of the importance of treating all choices and requirements with reverence and respect, ensuring complete peace of mind for both parents and pupils.
