LHS pupils & staff dressed up in a variety of “Fashion thru the Ages” raising over £500 for #ChildrenInNeed! From 1950s netted skirts to the noughties, some influenced by style icons such as #Friends, #Grease with lots of eighties denim & neon! Well done #LboroHigh!
What a spectacular #Diwali assembly today! Many students took part to tell us the story of the #FestivalOfLight including this dance from the talented yr10 group.
The spectacular year 13 dance can be seen at https://t.co/PPiMROSrCm & photos at https://t.co/wmirzpFsHb https://t.co/AjADdxx9Rk
All Students & Staff from LHS came together today for an act of #Remembrance to honour those who have lost their lives in conflict; in particular those from across @LboroSchFdt & our former student, 2nd Lt Joanna Yorke Dyer, sadly killed in action in Iraq in 2007.
At the #MathsInspiration Show at @crucibletheatre, Yr 12 enjoyed learning about the #maths behind poker, roller coasters and MRI scanners. Ankitha was eager to get on stage to help model a water molecule! An inspiring afternoon of maths! @MathsInspiratn @LboroHSMaths https://t.co/OYPFH8hC32
Congrats to yr11 Indie, who ran in the Leics & Rutland Schools' U17 #CrossCountry league race, despite the pouring rain & extreme muddy conditions, navigating an extremely slippy course, but still sprinted the last 100 metres to win the race by over 200 metres! Incredible! 🥇🏃♀️ https://t.co/67nlPJ6tjE
#LboroHigh Years 10 &11 girls proudly showing off their #Barcelona hoodies. Then in the Plaza de #Catalunya after a day improving their fluency, interacting with the locals and soaking up the #Catalan culture, followed by a visit to #Gaudi’s Casa Mila. https://t.co/DIRfGDsoo3
