Loughborough High School has been recognised for its exceptional academic achievements in the latest edition of The Sunday Times’ Parent Power 2020 school league tables, published on 24 November 2019.

Loughborough High School placed 88th of all independent schools in the United Kingdom based upon the summer 2019 exam results for both GCSEs and A Levels. This was an increase in position on last year’s league tables, where the school was placed 93rd. The school was placed second of all independent schools in the East Midlands.

Loughborough High School does not actively chase league table positions: we promote a love of learning as an end in itself, and league tables do not recognise the many extra-curricular achievements of a school like LHS. However, such commendations are a wonderful accolade for the girls and staff of LHS, evidencing the scholasticism, teaching excellence and commitment to learning from all at the school.
