Indienne nominated for Young Sports Personality of the Year

Congratulations to Indienne who has retained the Leicestershire and Rutland Schools’ Cross Country League title for the fifth time in a row for Loughborough High School. 

 In addition to this, Indienne has been nominated for Leicester Mercury’s ‘Young Sports Personality of the Year’ award. The winner will be announced at a black tie dinner to be held at Leicester City Football Club in January 2020. 

 Indie has been nominated for her hard work and determination after she received her first England vest last March at just 14 years old, and won gold for England at 15 years old. In the same year, she also won the National Silver Medal in the U17s 800m at the National English Track and Field finals and following that race, she was selected for the U18 GB Team in anticipation for the U18 World Championships.
