In the Autumn Term, to link in with our India topic and Religious Studies, we go to Leicester, visiting a Hindu temple, local businesses and observing the cultural diversity and community links in the Belgrave neighbourhood.

Later in the year we have a three day York residential trip to look forward to, plus activity days to supplement different curriculum topics. In the classroom the children gain confidence and independence as they develop their learning styles and interests and are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The Year 4 staff work as a team to provide the children with a curriculum which is as up to date and stimulating as possible. By using a variety of teaching methods including iPads, the children feel involved and highly motivated.

There are a wide variety of lunchtime and after school clubs available, which the children take part in and thoroughly enjoy – there is something for everyone!  These include many sporting activities, with the chance to represent the school and be part of a team. Musically, the children can choose to learn an instrument and may have the ability to play in the orchestra or an ensemble.

The opportunities are endless!
