July 2024: Loughborough Schools Foundation’s Approach to the Potential Introduction of VAT on Fees
To provide as much clarity and assurance as possible for current, incoming and prospective parents, the Foundation has issued an update and FAQ on its planned approach to the potential introduction of VAT on school fees.
Fees for Academic Year 2024/25
Kindergarten (term-time) | £4,675 per term (5 day placement) |
Pre-Prep (Reception, Year 1 & 2) | £4,805 per term |
Upper Prep (Year 3 to Year 6) | £4,925 per term |
Lunches | Kindergarten and Pre-Prep – £5.25 per day, Upper Prep – £5.45 per day |
Breakfast Club | £6.70 per day (07:45 – 08:30) |
Breakfast Club Registration | Children are registered between 07:45 and 07:50, where they will be supervised by their own Breakfast Club Supervisor. |
After School Club | £17.25 per day (15:30 – 18:00) £8.60 per day (17:00 – 18:00) |
Music lessons | £27.95 per 30 minute lesson (10 x 30 minute lessons) |
Lamda Lesson, 1:1 | £27.95 per lesson |
Shared Lamda Lesson, 2:1 and above | £18:00 per lesson |
Registration Fees and Deposits
Day Pupils
A registration fee of £50 per candidate should be sent with the Registration Form.
An acceptance deposit of £400 is payable on acceptance of a place and is returned when pupils leave in accordance with the Foundation’s Terms and Conditions.
Day Pupils, International
A registration fee of £130 per candidate should be sent with the Registration Form.
An acceptance deposit of £1,000 is payable on acceptance of a place and is returned when pupils leave in accordance with the Foundation’s Terms and Conditions.
Free Early Years Entitlement (FEEE) may be used from the term after a child’s third birthday, up to and including their fifth birthday. This is subject to the current guidelines set out by the Local Authority.
Breakfast Club and After School Club provision is included in the termly fees for Fairfield Kindergarten. Fee Payments
Loughborough Schools Foundation require school fees to be paid in full on the first day of term. Our preferred method for payment is via Direct Debit and please click here for the Direct Debit Mandate.
