Students at Loughborough Amherst School celebrate an exceptional year of A Level achievements with teachers, parents, and friends as they prepare to strike out for the world beyond school. 

Results were extremely positive, with 31% at grade A*- A and 81% grades A*-C. 

James Neville, Headmaster, says: “These excellent results represent a high point for Amherst and are testament to the hard work of pupils, their dedicated teachers and to the ongoing support of their families. I am immensely proud of our Year 13 leavers whose enthusiasm and commitment have enriched the life of our community in so many areas – from drama productions to musical success and international sporting achievements. Their leadership has been integral to the success of Faith in action, House, and Co-curricular activities this year. 

We wish our leavers the very best in their next adventures, as they strike out for the world beyond school. We very much hope you will all stay in touch, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the years to come.” 

This year, university destinations include Imperial College London, University College London, Royal Holloway, King’s College London, Exeter, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Warwick, and York. We wish our students success and happiness with whatever path they have chosen.
