The value of Music as a qualification at the end of a sixth-form course of study is widely recognised by universities and employers as evidence of training that encourages individual students to communicate effectively, to express themselves accurately and individually in a variety of ways, and to develop the degree of self-discipline necessary to achieve a high standard of instrumental performing ability
Employers in today’s world need people who can transfer these creative skills to the complex and inventive world of work. As with any Sixth-Form course, study of Music will sharpen intellect, deepen knowledge and practical skills, and encourage a serious and independent approach to study.
We regularly have students who go on to both Universities and Music Colleges to study Music further.
