Last week was a busy week for STEM, starting with the TeenTech finals where Adithya won in the Digital Skills category, and then Brendan, Matthew, Alexander and Matthew were Highly Commended at the London Economist Foundation Raspberry Pi event.

At The Big Bang regional event in Derby, Jonathon, joined by High School pupils, won the Innovator award for Visi-Bowl which enables visually impaired people to know when to stop pouring drinks into a container. Rohit won the Real World Application award with his i-first aid, a smart-watch and phone device designed to help the wearer call for help; and, Adithya won with his Global Glass, a device enabling the wearer to instantly translate – winning Young Engineer of the Year award. Congratulations to all those involved.
