Miss Jenkins at Loughborough Grammar School is celebrating the publication of her 12th book.

As Director of Future Pathways and teacher of Politics at The Loughborough Schools Foundation, Sarra is the co-author of Pearson Edexcel A Level textbook Politics: UK Government Politics, Political ideas and US Government and Politics (Second Edition).

She wrote the US chapters of the textbook, as well as the chapter on UK elections, and has taught A Level Politics for 17 years after studying History at University College London.

She said: “I’ve always loved reading about current events and looking at how they can shape our world. Ever since I started studying politics at A Level myself, I knew that I wanted to teach it and share my passion for the subject.

“I’m really proud of this book; it’s been a real labour of love and it never gets old seeing your words come to life!”

Pearson Edexcel A Level textbook Politics: UK Government Politics, Political ideas and US Government and Politics (Second Edition) is co-written by  John Jefferies, Sarra Jenkins and David Tuck.

Congratulations, Sarra!
