Back in March, our Junior quiz team won the regional Schools Challenge tournament and therefore qualified for the national finals. These took place at Warwick School on Sunday 23 June. The Grammar School team narrowly lost their first match, and then progressed to the plate final by beating George Heriot’s School from Edinburgh. Despite some superb quizzing, the team lost to Monmouth School, but all four boys deserve huge credit for how well they represented the School in this prestigious tournament. The team representing the Grammar School was Alex and Freddie (Year 8) and Mustafa and Shayan (Year 7). Well done, boys.
