Last month, the British Physics Olympiad competition results were announced, and we were delighted to discover that pupils at Loughborough Grammar received two silvers, one gold and two top gold awards, a marvellous achievement and a result that falls in the top 10% in the country, out of the 6,000 entries.

Congratulations to Darius and Jonas in Year 13 who will be going through to the next round!

The British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) aims to encourage the study of Physics and recognises excellence in young physicists through twelve annual Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics competitions.

By participating in a British Physics Olympiad, our students have the chance to experience the perseverance and determination required to solve real-world problems, whilst demonstrating the skills required for admission to top universities.
