Back to Boarding

BSA Logo

In preparation for the return of our boarders for next term we have adopted the COVID Charter. This ensures that all our boarders are safe and well looked after. They will be collected from the airport in our school vehicles and then carry quarantine safely in our specially prepared boarding houses which are clean, hygienic and light and airy. The boarders will be eating in socially distanced way in the dining hall and they will not leave the campus. They will be able to enjoy our lovely spacious green campus and start to make new friends as well as get ready for learning in September. All new boarders and their families receive regular updates about how the school will be welcoming them and ensuring their safety. We have also made a video to demonstrate what we have on offer here and who the people are who will be looking after the boarders.

COVID Fit to Fly

Here at Loughborough Schools Foundation, we are working hard to ensure that our pupils can get home to see their family and loved ones for the Christmas break. We are working with a “Fit to Fly” expert testing company called Midland Health, to ensure that all the pupils are tested in the appropriate timescales, and all are given the correct paperwork to enable them to fly home. Details of our partner company: https://midlandhealth.co.uk/tests-and-diagnostics/covid-19/travel-certificate/, We understand how important it is to return home and visit family as part of the pastoral care of the boys, and are delighted to have been able to facilitate this.

The whole team are working collectively to make Christmas vacations a possibility for our pupils; including the School management team, the Boarding / Admissions team and the School Nurses. We are delighted to be able to facilitate a trip home, and we look forward to seeing all the boys back in January, refreshed after a wonderful break at home with family.

Wishing our boarders, families and guardians a restful Christmas break! We look forward to seeing you again soon.
