Grace Davies
Interim Head
I joined Loughborough Amherst School as Senior Deputy Headteacher in September 2017 after leaving my position as Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion at Esher Church of England High School in Surrey. I graduated from Reading University with a First Class Honours degree in French Studies, then completed my PGCE, before completing my Master’s Degree in Education Leadership and Management. I have also completed the National SENCo Award and numerous Designated Safeguarding Lead courses. I am passionate about inclusive education and am incredibly proud of Amherst’s history as a kind, nurturing school for all children.
Away from education, I have two young sons and am passionate about the outdoors, travelling, photography and sports.
