Year 6 Girls Hockey

Our penultimate set of fixtures saw 27 highly excitable Year 6 girls travel to Leicester Grammar Junior School. Although a rather grey day, the rain stayed away for the matches and the temperature wasn’t too cold. We played four matches and I am delighted to report that in all of them the girls came away victorious, having displayed some fantastic team work and support for each other. It was lovely to see just how much all of their hockey skills have developed over the term but even more importantly, how much their enjoyment of the game has grown. Well done to all the girls involved, you were an absolute delight to take on the fixture and thanks to all the parents who came to support. As ever, my thanks to Ms Nicol, Ms Gillard and Mrs Love for umpiring and supporting all the girls in their matches.
