Year 5 Residential to Wales

Year 5 started the Half Term with an all-action adventure in North Wales. After an early start on Monday morning, we were greeted by glorious sunshine in Wales. Our accommodation benefitted from wonderful views over the dramatic coastline and up the Conwy valley. Soon after arriving, we were kitted out and starting our first activities. Gorge Walking involved clambering up waterfalls and through swirling pools of a river that flowed down through forests. For Coasteering, we scaled rocky cliffs and jumped into rock pools. We also kayaked on a mountain lake and climbed the rocks on Conwy mountain and Holyhead. Our evenings were filled with activities set up by Mrs Alves on Conwy beach and adventure games run by our instructors
