Year 4 Girls’ Hockey Fixture vs. Spratton Hall

On a rather cold and windy afternoon the Year 4 girls all took to the astro-turf to play their final hockey fixture of the season against Spratton Hall. There were five matches in total and it was an absolute delight to see all the girls using the skills they have worked on throughout the term. In every match they created numerous opportunities in and around the goal but also worked hard to track back when put under pressure in defence. Their confidence has blossomed and their discipline in maintaining their positions is far more evident. The afternoon concluded with match teas and some delicious hot chocolate to help warm them all up. An enormous well done to all the girls and many thanks to all the parents who so kindly gave their support.
