Year 1 Trip to East Midlands Aeropark

Year 1 went to East Midlands Aeropark on Tuesday morning as part of their topic ‘What are we remembering?’ They got to go inside lots of different aircraft, including a Nimrod and a search and rescue helicopter. They even got to go inside an aeroplane that the Queen had travelled in! It was great to see the cockpit and learn about different jobs that a crew of a plane would have had during different wars. It was a great morning!
