U11 Girls’ Hockey Bromsgrove Tournament

On Saturday 14th October the U11 squad travelled to Bromsgrove for a friendly, yet competitive hockey tournament. This was only the morning after the girls had performed so well at the IAPS Regional Finals and it was quite astounding to see just how much energy and enthusiasm they still had despite having played so much hockey.

The team played incredibly well as the results below show. They were very unlucky to lose to Cheltenham Prep after going ahead in the early stages of the match and it was this result that proved to be the defining score. Fairfield were placed as very well deserved Runners Up. The girls should feel exceptionally proud of their performance, it continues to go from strength to strength. As ever, thanks to the wonderful parents for bringing the girls to Bromsgrove and for such encouraging and positive support, it was lovely.
