Stonehurst Farm Visit

On Wednesday Reception children visited Stonehurst Farm to learn all about farm animals as part of this half term’s ‘Animals’ topic. We were able to hear all about how the farmers look after their animals and got to see lambs, piglets, calves and chicks! We held rabbits and guinea pigs, checked for eggs, ran up the big hill and even had a tractor ride. This was all topped off with a wonderful picnic in the sunshine, plenty of time on the playground and a ride on a double decker bus. We all had a fantastic time!
