Pre Prep Sports Day

The sun shone (by and large) on Tuesday for another fabulous Pre Prep Sports Day. With the music from Chariots of Fire playing as the children entered onto the field, we were soon ready to get events under way. With such favourites as the 30 m sprint, the obstacle course, the sack race and the skipping race, the afternoon was a fantastic spectacle. There was then a respite for the children as it was the parents’ turn to battle it out in the hotly contested bat and ball races. With the children’s batteries now recharged it was time for the afternoon’s climax, the class relay races. Much needed refreshments were then served afterwards, before it was time to go home for our young athletes.
