The PTA is an active and thriving association which forms an important part of school life for Fairfield families. All parents and staff are members and a committee is responsible for arranging an array of events throughout the year.
The PTA committee is made up of a group of elected parents and teachers which organises events that enable parents, teachers and children to socialise, have fun and raise money in the process. It is a social committee and does not have the ability to influence school policy.
The PTA has staged a wide variety of events, ranging from children’s discos to parent’s golf competitions, raising funds for the purchase of the school minibus, headphones for school iPads, contributing to the creation and development of the Fairfield Forest School, and many other wonderful things that benefit Fairfield children of all ages.
There are lots of ways to become involved with the PTA. We welcome new committee members, and invite parents to come along to support our events – we always appreciate extra pairs of hands! And if you have any suggestions for future events or fundraising ideas, please get in touch. You’ll find a list of current committee members here. You are very welcome to approach committee members about any aspects of the PTA. Alternatively, please email us at email@example.com
We’d love to hear from you!
