Netball Results

Fairfield were excited at the prospect of hosting five netball matches against Warwick Prep on Wednesday and the players were not disappointed with the afternoon of netball that ensued. All of the year six players were involved and it proved to be very competitive on all of the courts.

Warwick proved as always to be strong opposition, quick to use the space effectively and to intercept the ball. However the Fairfield players without exception and with great enthusiasm rose to the challenge and were rewarded with many successful challenges and attacking opportunities. In defence the players generally marked well to break down some of Warwicks attacking moves. There was some great play in all the matches but and overall Warwick showed greater strength in depth and were the overall victors 4 games to one. Well done to all the players their enthusiasm and effort could not be faulted.
