Florence Nightingale

On Monday 15 January, Florence Nightingale (an actress from the Freshwater Theatre Company) came to visit Year 2, to talk about her incredible life. If we had not already learnt that Florence actually died in 1910, we would have thought we were talking to the real person! She taught us so much about her life, from her childhood to her later years and the wonderful things she achieved. From the artefacts she brought with her and through role play, we all had an enjoyable, interesting and really informative morning.
