Author Visit

The Reception children welcomed Author and illustrator Petr Horacek to school. In the morning he gave an inspiring and funny talk about how he got his inspiration and showed how he drew and coloured his characters. In the afternoon the children had a lesson on colouring with oil pastels and then all had chance to create something to go onto the two boards that Petr had painted to complete our Fairfield version of ‘The Mouse who ate the Moon’. The finished boards are going in the Reception reading area.
