A Splash of Fabulous Fundraising
On Friday 2 February, Mr Mubarak Sheikh was presented with a cheque for £3383.73 for his charity Penny Appeal.
Earlier in the year Mr Sheikh’s was selected by the School Council as the charity that the School should support this year. The charity set Mr Sheikh the challenge of raising £5,000 and to begin with he wondered how he would ever achieve it. The money raised will enable the charity to establish a deep water well in Gambia.
Thanks to the support of pupils, parents, School staff and of course the staff Fundraising Committee he has today achieved the £5,000 challenge.

Thanks to everyone’s support at a range of different activities including a cake sale, non-uniform day, the charity breakfast and a staff quiz night – we’ve made it! Now all I’ve got to do is run the London Marathon in April.”"
