3M Young Innovators Challenge

Last week was the turn of the children who were entered into the 3M Young Innovators Slo-Mo Marble Run Challenge to take their designs to 3M and present them to the judges. As you can see, the children had put a huge amount of thought into their designs, researching friction and gradient amongst other things to try to make their marble’s descent the slowest. The standard of the presentations was impressive, with plenty of evidence of scientific research having taken place and problems overcome. Congratulations go to Alexandria, Kianna and particularly Vidhi who has reached the finals of the competition which will take place in June.
