For most boys studying nine GCSEs in a curriculum that offers academic rigour and breadth, breadth is best. All pupils follow a core (five compulsory subjects) curriculum and select four further subjects from a wide range of options, covering Modern Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Expressive and Performing Arts, Sport and Technology. It’s best for the boys to enjoy opportunities for learning skills such as leadership, communication and teamwork in a range of co-curricular activities. Our Thursday afternoons are the time and space for those.

- Two Sciences (from Biology, Chemistry, Physics) Pupils also have lessons in Games and PHSE
