LHS 50-Year Reunion

On Sunday 29 June, we welcomed 14 alumni back to the High School for their 50-Year Reunion.

The summer sun was shining brightly as our guests arrived at the High School for a catch up over chocolate strawberries and light refreshments in the Drama Studio and a look through the archival display. We then headed off on a guided tour around the School, revisiting familiar spaces such as the main Hall and Rokeby. We even took a look inside the current Staff Room, once their Sixth Form Centre, and recreated a cherished photo on the patio they had brought along.

We also visited the newer parts of the School, including the sports facilities, music and the current Sixth Form Centre.

After walking around in the sun, it was time to cool off with a few more refreshments. To mark the occasion, one alumna had thoughtfully designed a postcard for everyone – a lovely keepsake from the special day.
