Loughborough Schools Foundation are committed to maximising the sporting potential of all students. Through the varied sports programmes in all four of the Schools, we encourage the interests and enthusiasm of all pupils to create the foundations for a lifelong love of sport.
We aim to inspire our pupils to increase their performance and strive for excellence in all teams and individual athletes.
With your support, we are able to ensure that every pupil:
- Can get involved and enjoy sports at LSF
- Continue to excel in the sports they love, from PE to national championship levels
- Has access to outstanding training and sports facilities
- Is given all the equipment they, and any team they are part of, need
- Has the opportunity to be inspired and motivated by leading coaches in their sport
- Is free from any barriers stopping them from playing sports.

The Ed Thorpe Memorial Fund
Supporting Rugby and Cricket at LGS
Following the news of the death of Ed Thorpe on 3 May 2023, alumni who remember Ed fondly wanted to establish something in his memory. After consultation with Ed’s family we have established The Ed Thorpe Memorial Fund which will support rugby and cricket at Loughborough Grammar School.
Your support can ensure Ed’s legacy in the sports he loved, and help transform Rugby and Cricket at the Grammar School by providing training, equipment, coaching, scholarships and access to grounds and facilities.
