Your support can help change a child’s life for the better, forever...
At Loughborough Schools Foundation, we owe our very existence to a generous gift from Thomas Burton that led to our formation in 1495.
To this day, we remain a registered charity with students and the local community at the heart of what we do. We achieve much of this through fundraising and engagement with current and former pupils, whose support helps to extend participation in our schools by funding bursaries, buildings and even bassoons. Yes, really!
Single or regular gifts or a gift in your Will, large or small, are hugely beneficial and will help to provide life-changing opportunities for many pupils. Such opportunities would otherwise be out of reach for children who have the academic talent to excel at one of our schools but whose parents lack the financial means to send them.
We are passionate about the power of education, and this is our main motivation for raising philanthropic funds to help the schools and their pupils.
