On Thursday 12 October, LGS held its Careers Dinner for boys in Years 11 – 13. At the dinner pupils had a chance to network and get valuable insights into careers from professionals working within a range of industries, from arts, culture and travel to business and financial services to law, politics and criminal justice.

67 volunteers joined at the dinner, including parents, supporters and 15 alumni. Volunteers are able to share their career journey and experiences, as well as general guidance and advice, providing pupils with valuable insights that enable to them to make informed decisions about their futures and excite them for the next chapter of their lives.

It was such a valuable experience for the pupils and we are so grateful to all our alumni who volunteer their time and ensure events like these are a success – thank you!

If you would like to help, but don’t know where to start, why not complete a mini alumni profile and share your career wisdom, which will be shared on our website and with current pupils. You can find the form online here: https://forms.office.com/r/LVbBwEKusQ
