The End of a Brilliant Chapter

This week has been full of heartfelt goodbyes for our much-loved Receptionist, Zoe, after eight years of service to Loughborough Nursery.

Zoe’s warm and welcoming nature will be deeply missed, not just by her colleagues, but by the Nursery’s community of children and parents. For almost all of our families, Zoe is the person who guides them through their journey with us, present from their first enquiry all the way through to their child’s graduation.

This deep appreciation for Zoe’s contribution to the Nursery community has been reflected in the number of well wishes and gifts she has received this week.

Nursery Manager, Jacqui Holford, said: “Zoe will be very much missed by our whole Nursery community and we’re all sad to see her go. She has gone from strength to strength in her role throughout her time here and has made such a positive impact on so many families.”

When asked to pick a highlight from her time at Loughborough Nursery, Zoe said: “It’s really difficult to pick just one highlight from my time at Loughborough Nursery as I’ve loved every minute of working here! I’ve seen the Nursery grow from just four rooms to begin with to now a really vibrant and thriving environment. It’s also fantastic to see so many children progress through the Nursery and every year at Graduation I couldn’t be prouder to see them leaving us ready to flourish. It’s been such a rewarding working environment and the staff, children and families at Loughborough Nursery have made it all so enjoyable.”

We are looking forward to welcoming Sam to our team from September as the Nursery’s new Receptionist. With experience of working in a Nursery setting and lots of fantastic new ideas, we have no doubt that she will settle in seamlessly.
