This is the room where the majority of our children begin their journey at Loughborough Nursery. Therefore, as this will usually be a child’s first experience of leaving their care giver, we initially work on building a secure attachment with you and your child to ensure a smooth transition.
As each child at this age will have a different routine, we will liaise with you to follow this at Nursery to ensure consistency for the child by keeping sleep times, bottle times and exploration times the same as they are at home. As your child begins to grow and develop and their routine naturally changes, we will discuss with you what changes you are happy to make to your child’s routine.
You will often find the children in this room happily exploring and engaging in a range of sensory activities that allow the children to explore different textures via a range of materials. We support the children in becoming confident walkers by providing activities that will encourage their gross motor skills.
We are keen for you to be involved with your child’s learning and will share what we are doing at Nursery with you so that you can continue this at home.
The team within Developers have a vast amount of experience working with babies and are more than happy to provide any help and advice as your child begins to develop and achieve new milestones.
