Welcome to Loughborough Nursery
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Loughborough Nursery, the youngest member of the wonderful family that is the Loughborough Schools Foundation.
My staff and I recognise just what a big step it is to choose a nursery that is right for you and your child. It is why we commit to providing the highest quality of care to children from just 6 weeks old up to 4 years of age in a safe, stimulating, supportive and happy environment.
We are here 51 weeks of the year to ensure the next chapter in your children’s development presents every opportunity to explore, learn, play and discover new things. As Nursery Manager it is an absolute privilege to watch our children develop their personalities, character and intellect and to share their progress with parents.
Do explore the website to learn more about our amazing facilities, staff and approach and we very much hope to be able to welcome you to our Nursery in the near future.

Learning and Development
The foundation of life at Loughborough Nursery is that each and every one of our children is happy, settled, cared for and cared about.
But we also believe that a child’s early years form the building blocks of the young person they will become. So, your child’s development and learning is very much a focus of the time they spend with us, built around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
It’s a structured approach that stimulates social, emotional and physical development, grows communication and language skills and develops an appreciation in key subject areas such as Literacy, Mathematics and Expressive Arts.no
While we take the responsibilities for the nurturing of every child in our care incredibly seriously, happy smiles remain our measure that we are doing a good job.
From messy play, clambering and climbing to daubing paint, sticking stuff and story time, fun and laughter are never far away.yes The children are well taken care of, they have a good choice of activities and a lovely open space for free flow play.
The joys of Forest School are a wonderful bonus to our being part of the Loughborough Schools Foundation.
Time spent with nature is as enthusiastically welcomed by our nursery children as it is valued by our staff as an engaging space in which to enjoy all sorts of valuable learning experiences.no
