Celebrating 25 Years of Service

Loughborough Nursery celebrated a milestone moment for Manager, Mrs Jacqui Holford, yesterday as she achieved 25 years of continuous service at Loughborough Schools Foundation.
Although Mrs Holford is celebrating 25 years of working at Loughborough Schools Foundation, her history with the campus goes back even further as she attended Our Ladys Convent School from the age of 9 to the age of 16. After successfully achieving her Nursery Nursing Examining Board (NNEB) qualification, Mrs Holford held a variety of teaching positions – from working in the Montessori at the Convent to working as a Nanny in America for a year – before returning to the Foundation in 2000.
Since Loughborough Nursery opened in 2016, Mrs Holford has been a valued and much-loved member of the team. In recent years, she has stepped into the role of Manager, bringing her wealth of experience to the role and inspiring those around her. Mrs Holford credits her success at the Nursery to her fantastic team of colleagues, emphasising the sense of team spirit that underpins life at Loughborough Nursery.
Yesterday, children and staff marked this achievement with a delicious buffet tea and homemade cake! The children also worked with their Room Leaders to create thoughtful cards for Mrs Holford, which expressed their appreciation for everything she does to make Loughborough Nursery such a warm and welcoming environment.
