Your Impact

Thank you to everyone who plays a role in changing lives through education at our Schools.

Donations to LSF are transforming lives and opening doors for bright, young individuals from underrepresented backgrounds. Gifts also support impactful and topical initiatives and programmes, specifically designed to empower and inspire young minds in areas like STEM, enterprise, sports, and music.

We are extremely fortunate to have so many people who give back and invest in the future of our students.

Your generosity has helped to create life-changing experiences for our pupils. Every donation, no matter the size, directly touches the lives of those who learn at our Schools, offering them opportunities they might otherwise not have access to.

Here’s how your donations are making a difference:

Bursaries and Scholarships

Thanks to your generosity, hundreds of pupils and their families are supported through our Bursary, Scholarship and Beyond Your Bursary programmes.

Your gifts remove financial barriers for pupils from low-income families, care backgrounds and other challenging circumstances, enabling them to attend one of our schools and access the opportunities they need to flourish.

“Giving our children the best education possible was and has always been, the highest priority for us as parents. We believe that education extends beyond pure academic achievement and should ultimately create well-rounded, healthy individuals with the knowledge and life skills needed in order for them to reach their full potential.

As such, we have, like many, sacrificed a great deal to ensure that our children had the opportunities that were never available to ourselves. Never once have we regretted this choice. I cannot imagine our son in any other environment than the type provided by Loughborough Grammar; a place that has provided him with friendship, stability and focus during the amicable, but protracted divorce of his parents.”

A PARENT OF A CURRENT BURSARY RECIPIENT

Student Opportunity Fund

With thanks to your support, pupils are able to access much needed funds when unexpected or additional costs would otherwise hold them back.

Your donations provide vital support for items such as educational trips, learning resources, school meals, bus passes and uniform, ensuring every pupil can take part fully in school life and make the most of the opportunities available to them.

“On behalf of my son and our family, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous funds awarded to us to help pay for his bus fare to school.

Due to the financial constrains we are presently facing, we are not in a position to afford the cost of the bus fare on top of the school fees. Receiving the funds to pay for his travel has not only eased our financial concerns, but has also opened valuable opportunities for our son to thrive in his education and growth.

We are deeply moved by the kindness and dedication of donors like you, who make these things possible. Your contribution has a real, meaningful impact on pupils and families like ours, and we are inspired by your commitment to creating a positive difference. The support is an invaluable resource, and it strengthens our sense of community, knowing that alumni and friends like you are invested in the success and well-being of our children.

Thank you once again for your generosity and for playing such an essential role in our son’s journey. We are truly grateful.”

Music Scholarships and Instruments

Music scholarships and access to quality instruments are vital for nurturing musical talent.

Your donations allow us to provide scholarships for gifted musicians, awarded based on a rigorous selection process, and purchase high-quality instruments. These opportunities enable pupil to develop their skills and share their talents. We are also grateful to those who have generously donated their old musical instruments for our pupils to learn with.

Sport Scholarships

Thanks to your support, sports scholarships are empowering talented athletes to reach their full potential on and off the pitches and courts.

Your donations are funding specialised coaching, advanced training facilities, and participation in competitive events, enabling pupils to excel in their chosen sports.

Sport Player Pathways

Thanks to sport player pathways, our athletes are receiving comprehensive training and development.

Donations have helped provide structured rugby, hockey, netball and cricket programmes that guide pupils from grassroots participation to elite performance levels.

And much more…

Your impact is vast, from funding new initiatives to enhancing existing programmes, including academic prizes, hardship support, and subject specific donations.

Your gifts help us create nurturing and stimulating environments for all our pupils.

Thank you for supporting our schools and pupils.
