The importance of the department means that this is a role that would support an aspiring leader wishing to move onto a senior management position in due course. The Head of Mathematics is a significant figure in the school who will have the scope to contribute to the wider development of the school.

The successful candidate will be an experienced mathematics teacher with exceptional subject knowledge, a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of the whole school community.  They will be required to teach Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level and beyond (STEP, Oxbridge entrance etc.).
