Loughborough High School, an independent day school for girls aged 11 to 18 years, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Maths on a full-time basis.

Required from September 2022, the suitable candidate will be expected to teach Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (IGCSE course) and A Level courses. An ability to teach Further Maths and prepare students for university is desirable.

Loughborough Grammar School are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher for approximately two terms, to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will teach Geography at Key Stage 3 and at GCSE; and Religion and Philosophy across Key Stage 3. To start in September 2022.

Loughborough Grammar School is seeking to appoint a qualified teacher to be part of the Economics and Business Studies Department. Responsible to the Head of Economics and Business Studies, we are looking for a well-qualified graduate in Economics or Business Studies to join this thriving, popular and high-achieving Department. The successful candidate will possess excellent subject knowledge, be an effective teacher who uses a variety of teaching methods and be efficient and organised. They should be able to demonstrate a willingness to innovate and the ability to foster positive and supportive relationships with students. They will be able to teach both subjects to A Level. A willingness to be involved in the co-curricular and pastoral life of this busy and vibrant School is expected.  We are looking for a Head of Boarding for September 2022. This post is open to teachers, who would be expected to teach up to 0.5 of a timetable in their subject, or to non-teaching staff on a part time basis (0.5 FTE).

We are looking for someone who has strong pastoral experience and who can demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail. They are required to support the vision, ethos and policies of the School, uphold boarding national minimum standards and assist all LSF boarding pupils under their care in achieving their best, including members of the Loughborough University National Tennis Academy (LUNTA).

Loughborough Grammar School is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our small team to teach across the Key Stages. This is an exciting and rare opportunity, and we welcome applications from both experienced and recently qualified teachers to join our evolving and ambitious Department. The post would commence in September 2022 and is on a part-time basis, with hours from 0.5 to 0.7 FTE dependant on the applicant’s requirements.

Passion for the subject and ability to inspire and stretch motivated students is essential, as well as the ability to be part of a forward-looking team. The Department focuses on the delivery of resistant materials, electronics and graphics, and we seek someone with an excellent command of the subject in these particular areas, together with an ability to deliver the topics with enthusiasm.
