The Class of 2000 celebrated 25 years since leaving school earlier this month. A group of 15 LHS and LGS alumni gathered at the Jam Garden (formerly The Orange Tree) for pizzas and drinks.
Earlier in the day some of the group also enjoyed a walk down Burton Walks, observing the fantastic new school buildings and facilities, and reflecting on the privilege of being educated at such a beautiful campus.
Former LHS student, Alice Veldtman (nee Raven) commented, “it was truly wonderful to come together in Loughborough. Although 25 years have passed, in many ways it felt just like old times. We enjoyed reminiscing about school days in the 90’s and I haven’t laughed so much in a long time! We committed to not leaving it so long for the next reunion!
