U13 Regional Hockey Champions

On Friday our Under 13 hockey team participated in the regional hockey finals at Cannock Hockey Club. They faced six teams in the group stage and beat all of them without conceding a single goal! The girls made it through to the semi-finals and played some of their best hockey to secure a 1-0 win against Kings Worcester, taking them through to the final where they faced Oakham School. It was a nail-biting game which finished 0-0, meaning only one thing…it was to be decided on penalty flicks! With nerves of steel, they took it through to sudden death and eventually got the better of Oakham to become regional champions! We are so proud of all the girls and they are now off to represent LHS at the National Finals in May.
