LHS student excels at European Junior Badminton Championships!

Loughborough High School sixth form student Sian, was selected to play for England to compete in the European Junior Badminton Championships in September, securing a place in the last 16 in the women’s doubles and also a quarter final spot in the mixed doubles event, losing out to the eventual champions from France. This is a fantastic achievement for Sian as it was one of her goals for this year to qualify and be selected for these championships.

Sian has also reached her highest European junior ranking of No.3 in the mixed doubles and her World junior ranking has also gone up to No.30.
