Co-curricular activities are a very important part of school life and we have a very broad range of activities. We have designed our programme to give students as much opportunity to develop their potential and enhance their academic experience. We encourage students to try clubs across the range including academic, sport and music or the arts. Whether it’s the challenge of learning a new instrument, helping your team win a match or debating moral ethics, our aim is to give students the chance to say I was able to try it all.
Many of the activities take place during the lunchtime with some timetabled for after school. The High School also offers a chance for Years 7-9 to work towards their Adventure Service Challenge and in Years 10-13 The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
"Many clubs and activities are pupil-devised and pupil-led. Those with shared interests are encouraged to put their ideas forward and because pupils are passionate about making a difference or raising awareness, they draw others into participation"
