Grades - seven 9s, 3 A*s
Hannah has just returned from working for a very rewarding volunteer project in Zambia where she helped to build a school and worked with street children. Her results today reflect the hard work and commitment that she puts into all that she does, including music; she sings, plays clarinet and piano but also finds time to play football for the West Bridgford Colts. Long term she hopes to have a career in medicine so will be studying Chemistry, Biology, History and Latin at A Level.
Grades - six 9s, 5 A*s
Emma is one of our Music Scholars and alongside this stunning set of results, she is working towards grade 8 in flute and singing, plus the Trinity LCME diploma in piano. She will be studying Biology, Physics, Maths and History at A Level in the Sixth Form.
Grades - six 9s, 8, 3 A*s
Alongside an exceptional set of results, Imogen has taken part in her silver Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Sports Leadership Awards 1 and 2 and is a member of the High School under 16 badminton team. Already thinking about her career ahead, she will be taking English Literature, History, French and Latin, with one day hopefully following a career in Humanitarian Law.

Aspiring film director, Fran, has achieved a superb set of results and will now go on to take Drama, English, Literature, French and Geography at A Level. Throughout her studies Fran has also found time for photography, LAMDA, sprinting and is a volunteer at local ‘not-for-profit’ St. Joseph’s Tea Rooms.

After a busy and successful summer, gold medallist and British U17 High Jump Champion, Maddy couldn’t be with her friends to open the all-important envelope, but sent us a message to say she was absolutely thrilled with the results she has received today. Well done Maddie!

In the future, Marina hopes to follow a law career so after receiving these amazing results, she will be studying Latin, Spanish and Maths at A Level. Also a keen netball player and a musician, she has studied percussion up to grade 7 and piano grade 6 and also managed to squeeze in time to complete the silver Duke of Edinburgh Award this year.
Talented and busy actor, singer and dancer, Libby, is very pleased with her results today; she will be continuing her Drama at A Level along with Spanish and Politics. This year we were treated to Libby’s stunning voice in the Loughborough Schools Foundation Drama production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ in which she played Audrey two.
Aniya is a hard worker and alongside her studies has been an active member of the Loughborough Schools Music department, she sings and plays guitar plus also studies with LAMDA at the High School. Her summer has been spent volunteering with the PACE Summer Camp at Amherst School as a young leader before coming back to Sixth Form to study Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Economics at A Level.
Fran, is a very supportive member of the School community and thoroughly earned the results she has achieved today. She will be doing Biology, Chemistry, Food and Psychology at A Level with aspirations to one day have a career in the food science industry. Fran also finds time for gymnastics, Scouts and her part-time job in a deli but is also known for her love of baking!
Anna and Megan
What a fantastic crop of results received by twins Anna and Megan today. Both are young leaders with the Brownies but individually have a wide variety of interests. Anna intends to study Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Latin at A Level and is working towards her grade 6 piano, with a long term goal of being a lawyer. Meanwhile Megan will study Biology, Chemistry, Geography and English at A Level but is a keen horse rider and cricketer.
With a crop of fabulous GCSE results, Lily will be going on to take A Levels in Psychology, Drama, Physics and Maths. A keen hockey player, she hopes to continue this in the Sixth Form and also join the Grammar School CCF contingent (Army Cadets).
Emma, Annabel & Izzy
Friends, Emma, Annabel and Izzy have lots of reasons to celebrate today with such a great haul of results!
In Sixth Form Emma will be taking A Levels in Politics, History, Biology and Chemistry, while hockey player Izzy, will be taking RS, Geography and Politics. Actor, Annabel has this year played Juliet in the Shakespeare’s School Festival at the Curve and will go on to study Drama, History, English and Politics in the Sixth Form.
Talented hockey player, Esme, is delighted with her results and is looking forward to starting life in the Sixth Form to study Biology, Chemistry, Geography and Art. Esme plays for Beeston Hockey club and has also been training and playing with the England Hockey Performance Centre.
Actor, Lucy was thrilled to receive this brilliant set of results. Lucy is one busy lady! Having recently completed her Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award, she has also been volunteering as a youth leader at the PACE Camp at Loughborough Amherst School and has a part-time job. However, that is not all! As a member of Brightlights Theatre and Starlight Youth Theatre, she has had recent roles in ‘Joseph’ and ‘Chicago’, she has been cast in the upcoming Foundation Drama production of Les Misérables, but most excitingly is soon to be seen starring as Elle in ‘Legally Blonde’ with Starlight Theatre.
Anais, An & Shayna
Hockey players Anais and An can be very pleased with their results; they will be starting Sixth Form in September; Anais is studying Drama, Spanish, English and Psychology and An will be studying Biology, Chemistry, History and Latin, she has also completed her grade 8 piano. Netballer, Shayna, who with the High School teams, has reached the National Netball Finals three times, has also completed her Sports Leadership awards 1 and 2. She will be going on to take Art, Business, Spanish and Psychology in the Sixth Form.
Ankitha, Elissa & Netra
With twenty grade 9s, 6 A*s, two 8s and 2 As between them, these three have a lot to jump up and down about! You would think that all they have been doing is studying, but no, there is much more to these pupils!
Ankitha and Netra were both Big Bang Fair finalists last year and are doing their Gold Crest Awards.
Karate Black Belt, Ankitha, hopes to be a medic one day and will be studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and RS at A Level. She is a grade 8 pianist, a grade 6 flautist, a classical singer and a Bharatanatyam dancer plus she volunteers in a care home in her ‘spare’ time!
All-Star Cheerleader, Elissa, will be studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and History at A Level but will be going to Florida for the World Cheerleading Championships in May. As an international cheerleader, she was a silver medallist last year, representing Team England and is a member of the East Midlands Cheerleading Academy.
Scholarship student, Netra, would like to pursue a career in Finance and Investment Banking, so no surprise that her A Level choices are Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry or that she took part in the International Maths Olympiad for Girls. She finds time to do Kathak dancing and is working towards her grade 7 ballet and flute exams. She also finds time to volunteer as a young leader at the Brownie group at Fairfield School.
Lizzie, Jess & Simran
Friends and fellow dancers, Lizzie, Jess and Simran have reaped the rewards of their hard work and we will be welcoming them back in September into sixth form. Lizzie will be studying Food, Business, Biology and RS, while Jess is studying Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Business, and Simran; Food, Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
With a crop of great results including A*s, 8 and 7s, Jess has much to be proud of. She has both local and international equestrian sponsorships and has qualified to compete nationally in the Pony Club Show Jumping Championships later this month and also for the Hunter Trial Championships in September, on her horse Cormac. Jess also competes at championship level in tetrathlons (running, riding, swimming and shooting).
Lizzy and her mum are absolutely over the moon at this fantastic set of results. Lizzy is passionate about literature and will be studying English, History, Classics and Maths at A Level and one day she aspires to be an author. Lizzy recently competed in the British Rowing Junior Championships and won a silver medal with her rowing partner, fellow High School student Rhianna.
