My first experience of the High School was as one of the inspectors from the ISI who visited LHS the year before. My previous school experience has been in posts as Deputy Head for Enrichment and Extension at Queen Margaret’s School, York and before that Director of Music and Head of Musical Theatre at Caterham School. These were preceded by a career as a cathedral musician, having been the Director of Music for the Cathedral and Diocese of Leeds. I am married with three young children ranging in ages from 6 to 11 months, two of whom attend Fairfield. My hobbies include my continued work as a published composer with my next work being for the massed strings of LSF and I am also a golfer whose ambition is to reach a single figure handicap.
